Department: Operating Room
Work Type: Full Time
Shift: Shift 1/6:30:AM to 7:00PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $27.45 - $37.06 / hour
Summary
The Surgical Technologist III functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient. Works with Registered Nurse specialist as a clinical resource. Is responsible for supplies/instrumentation and education in areas of expertise. Performs call obligations as assigned.
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Experience Requirements
3 Years Surgical Technologist (Required)
Additional Requirements
Graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists.
Meets all standards and competencies for Surgical Technologist II. Demonstrates proficiency in specialty/specialties.
CST certification preferred.
State of Florida Licensure Requirements
Not Required.
Certifications/Registration Requirements
BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) (Required)
