Job description
Surveillance OperatorAct as oversight and security agent for management and customers. Observe casino for irregular activities. Usually required to provide verbal and written reports of all violations and suspicious behavior to supervisor.Documents procedure infractionsDocuments incidents of theft, etc.Conducts or assigns Close Watch or other special surveillanceInforms Director of special observation requestsForwards all reports to DirectorRecommends Close Watch on personnel observed to be acting suspiciouslyMakes proper notifications of Gaming and other violationsRepresents Director in his absenceMonitor and observe gaming establishmentsConduct investigationsMust be able to prepare Surveillance reports as required in a complete, factual and legible mannerTestify as necessary in a court of law as a witnessSafeguard all confidential informationPerform all other duties, as assignedMust be 21 years or older.Must be able to obtain a Gaming and Racing License from Louisiana Racing Commission.3-5 years of experience.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff.Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regards to the implementation of current duties.Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.Work involves lifting, walking, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, and climbing.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Office/Casino environment; Subject to outdoor temperature; Exposed to smoke, bright lights and noise at times.The work environment consists of very non-demanding surroundings with a low noise level.Will occasional work in extreme heat or cold conditions.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
