T‑Rex has been tracking a recent trend of job offer scams. These scams start with an unsolicited email or LinkedIn message from a fake or impersonated recruiter that states the candidate meets a skillset that the recruiter is looking for. That is often followed up with a false screening questionnaire and even an interview for the nonexistent position. After this, the candidate receives an official‑looking job offer. In some cases, there is also a request for a large payment to acquire office equipment, such as a laptop. The scammer tells the victim that they will be reimbursed for the purchase of the office equipment, but of course this never happens.
All legitimate communication from T‑Rex will have an email address ending with @trexsolutionsllc.com. If you receive communications from any other email domain, please disregard and do not engage with them.
Are you ready to make a significant impact by supporting critical national security infrastructure? T‑Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared Sustainment Software Engineer 1 to join our dynamic team at Annapolis Junction, Maryland in support of the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities:
Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Investigate and analyze system and user problems to identify potential solutions or fixes
Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Develop, modify, and implement algorithms to address system performance or functional issues in operational systems
Write or review software and system documentation
Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T‑Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
