Hunter Shore Group has partnered with a heritage B2B ingredients company, currently undertaking a transformation of its end to end supply chain. Recently added to the portfolio of a leading private equity firm, the company is still in the early stages of a multi-year journey to create a best in class Procurement function. In this high impact role, you will have the opportunity to drive real change, deliver significant value to the organisation and build a long-term legacy.
What you’ll do:
Work closely with the company’s leadership team to evaluate and evolve the existing Procurement function
Build credible relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, demonstrating the value that Procurement can deliver
Build meaningful, long-term roadmaps, whilst creating new processes and policies designed to ensure high-levels of compliance
Coach and develop the existing Procurement team, whilst assessing the organisation design to ensure the function is fit for the future
Lead the company’s environmental sustainability pillar across key sourcing areas
What we’re looking for:
15+ years of experience in sourcing, ideally in Food, Manufacturing or related industries
A track record of designing and building Procurement functions, and leading high performing teams
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations Management. Master’s Degrees preferred
