Swatch ClerkHickory Chair - Hickory, NC 28602OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionPosition SummaryThe Swatch Clerk is responsible for producing swatches and labeling them. Additionally, the Swatch Clerk may assist with finish chips.Position DetailsApply new grade labels to swatchesPull swatch sets and prepare for shipping.Cut, serge, sew, label, and grommet swatches, as assigned.Assist with finish chips.May assist in Market preparation, as needed.Must follow all safety policies and procedures.Assist with other Swatch department duties as needed.All other duties as assigned.QualificationsPosition RequirementsAbility to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions requiredBasic math skills requiredMust have basic knowledge of computer programsPrior experience in a fabric swatch department a plus but not requiredGood communication and decision-making skills are requiredPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
