Retail Store Warehouse Utility StaffASP – America's Swimming Pool Company is Columbus' premier swimming pool service company. We continue to grow and are seeking solution-oriented and customer-focused Store/Warehouse/Utility person to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with testing their swimming pool water for proper chemical balance, managing the inventory and warehouse among other tasks. This includes following our proven process for diagnosing issues, successfully communicating alternative solutions to the customer, completing the solution in an efficient manner and following all established protocols and sharing lessons learned with the rest of our team. The ideal person for this position will love to work with or around other people. They will be a self-starter who has the ability to work independently and must be a problem solver. They will handle all matters with integrity and embrace the concept and requirements of delivering "resort-quality service".Responsibilities:Assist customers with testing their swimming pool water for proper balanceAnswer the telephone when neededAssist customers by carrying out purchased items to their carDaily inventory check for deliveries and stock items appropriately in warehouseAssist in the field on an as needed basisMaintain the property in and outside the store as neededAvailability to work Saturday's as neededStrong customer service skills needed to properly interact with customersManage merchant service/transactions from customers as neededWe are specifically looking for an individual who demonstrates these behaviors consistent with the ASP way of doing business (our culture and values):Acting with Integrity;Superior Knowledge;Passion for the Company;Customer Focus;Accountability and Discipline;Respecting Others;Excellence in ALL we do; andSafety First at all Times.Requirements:No felony convictions (must pass a criminal background check);Retail sales experience preferredKnowledge of swimming pools preferred but not required as we will teach you the ASP methods designed to give our customers superior value and to maximize your earning potential; however, a minimum of a high school degree and/or Certified Pool Operator License is preferred.The ability to lift up to 100 lbs.A valid driver's license with a clean driving record;Compensation:This is a full-time position with compensation based on your experience.
