Job Summary
Shift Manager responsible for leading shift operations, ensuring high quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and profitability at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee.
Responsibilities
Provide daily leadership to crew and other managers during each shift.
Plan and schedule each shift, forecasting staffing needs and monitoring performance.
Ensure compliance with quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
Monitor safety, security, and profitability metrics throughout the shift.
Communicate shift status and team updates to the next shift manager.
Help departments meet sales, inventory, and goal targets.
Manage food safety, inventory, daily maintenance, and cleaning activities.
Schedule and train crew members, providing coaching and performance feedback.
Qualifications
Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings.
Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for fast‑paced service environments.
Must be 18 years of age or older, meeting legal requirements for managerial positions.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
