Swing Shift Custodial WorkerSwing Shift Custodial WorkerDo you love knowing your work makes a difference at USC? Do you love something new every day you go to work? The Swing Shift Custodial Worker is a full-time staff member of University Housing who is responsible for the quality of living in a designated residence hall(s) at the University of South Carolina. Hours for this position are 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Primary duties include maintaining wood, ceramic tile, cement, brick, and linoleum floors, responding to emergencies to include extracting water from floors and carpeted areas during flooding in order to prevent water damage, assisting with the preparation for and clean-up of University special events, and applying total quality management/continuous improvement principles and processes. This position is designated as essential personnel during inclement/hazardous weather and other emergencies. This position does have access to state benefits such as retirement and medical insurance.Qualifications: 1 year related experience or equivalency
