Working after operational hours, this role ensures that lodges, restrooms, dining areas, rental shops, and other public spaces are thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next day's guests. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and occasional snow/ice management at building entrances.This position requires the ability to work independently, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks in a cold-weather environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all resort visitors.Night Janitors are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our facility. This position works a swing shift to take advantage of the time that buildings are least occupied.Engage and welcome all Crystal Mountain guestsVacuum, sweep and mop all lodge floors and restroomsDeep clean and stock restroomsTransport trash and recycling to appropriate containersReport any restroom or lodge maintenance to Facilities ManagerShampoo carpetsStraighten tables and chairsThis job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations. With the evolution of this resort and position, the responsibilities of this position may change.Must be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or GED preferredMust be able to work in a team environmentIntermediate skiing or riding abilityValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredThis position is required to work nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays while in operation.Ability to work "swing shift" hours from 2:30pm to 11pmAble to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 40 pounds on an occasional basis.Manual dexterity to operate a mop, vacuum, and broom on a constant basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.An Equal Opportunity Employer
