About the job Swiss CNC Applications Engineer

Roles and Responsibilties:

Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer-related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget

Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews, including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal

Developing/implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss-style lathes, and/ or multi-tasking machines

Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss-style lathes, and/or multi-tasking machines.

Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications

Travel to customers for on-site training and engineering assistance.

Qualifications:

Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing

Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company

Knowledge of Fanuc-based controls and 5-axis experience is a plus

Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred but not required.

Able to think quickly, assess a situation, and make a sound decision.

Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status :

Must-Haves:

Associate's degree in a related field is preferred. High School Diploma/GED required

We need candidates from machine manufacturing industries.

Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing only

Knowledge of Fanuc-based controls and 5-axis experience is a plus

Nice to Have:

Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred but not required.
