Overviewrms Company provides contract manufacturing of high-quality, tight-tolerance medical implants, components and sub-assemblies using cutting-edge technology. rms is part of the Cretex Medical family of companies.Swiss CNC Machinist Position SummaryThe Swiss CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.Shifts Available: 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 3:30pm to 3:30amSign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!ResponsibilitiesSwiss CNC Machinist Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate Swiss CNC machinesPerform quality inspection on completed partsPerform preventative maintenance on Swiss CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performanceComplete tool changesQualificationsSwiss CNC Machinist Position RequirementsOperator experience with Swiss CNC machinesStrong math background, preferable in machine math/shop mathUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsExperience using a microscopeAbility to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometerSwiss CNC Machinist Preferred Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMachining experience with medical components, devices, or instrumentsPrevious experience with tight tolerancesProgramming experience with Swiss CNC MachinesExperience with set-up on Swiss CNC MachinesExperience in troubleshooting of Swiss CNC Machinesrms Company BenefitsAs a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
