Job description
Swiss Lead ProgrammerResponsible for programming and leading setup activities on multi-axis CNC Swiss lathes to produce high-precision components. Applies advanced knowledge of machining theory, tooling, materials, and blueprint interpretation to drive quality and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and lead setups on multi-axis Swiss turning centersInterpret complex blueprints and technical drawingsOptimize tooling and cutting paths for performance and qualityTroubleshoot machining and programming issuesOversee quality checks to ensure specifications are metSupport continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentTrain and mentor operators and machinistsQualifications5+ years of Swiss CNC programming experienceStrong blueprint reading and advanced math skillsDeep knowledge of metals and machining processesProven troubleshooting and leadership abilityReliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivatedOvertime/weekend availability as needed
