Operating within an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing environment, the company supports both prototype and production programs for high-technology OEMs requiring exceptional quality and precision.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Swiss CNC Programmer experienced with Star and Tsugami Swiss-type lathes to support the production of precision micro-machined components. This role is responsible for programming, setup, and optimization of Swiss machining operations producing complex small-diameter components from a wide range of materials including stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, brass, and engineering plastics. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Mastercam Swiss programming, multi-axis Swiss machines with live tooling, and working within a quality-driven manufacturing environment such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.Typical Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop CNC programs using Mastercam Swiss for Star and Tsugami Swiss-type lathesSet up and optimize Swiss turning centers with live tooling and sub-spindlesProgram and run operations including: turning, milling, drilling, tapping, threading, cross-drillingSelect tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding strategies for efficient productionTroubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, chatter, and dimensional deviationsPerform first article inspections and in-process verificationWork from engineering drawings and GD&T specificationsOptimize programs to improve cycle time, tool life, and process repeatabilitySupport prototype development and new product introductionMaintain documentation required for ISO9001 / AS9100 quality systemsCollaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve machining and tolerance challengesEquipment & TechnologyMachines may include:Star Swiss CNC lathesTsugami Swiss CNC lathesMulti-axis Swiss machines with: live tooling, sub-spindle, guide bushing, bar feedersSoftware / Controls may include:Mastercam (Swiss)G-code programmingFanuc-based controlsInspection equipment including micrometers, comparators, and CMMsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of Swiss CNC programming and setupExperience with Star and/or Tsugami Swiss machinesStrong Mastercam Swiss programming experienceAbility to machine small precision componentsExperience machining materials such as: stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, brass, plasticsAbility to read blueprints and GD&TExperience with tight tolerance machiningFamiliarity with ISO9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environments
