Provide instructions & assistance to callers within and outside the medical center.Essential Duties:Process all incoming/outgoing callsAnswer emergency calls & alarms and follow SOP regarding routing/ reportingMaintain appropriate recordsPerform overhead paging services as required within the hospitalProvide general information as requested (I.e. visiting hours)Provide pager distribution within the hospital for specific VA employeesQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDExcellent written & verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent grammar and proofreading skillsMust have a good speaking voice.
