MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team located in the Fort Meade, MD area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide comprehensive administration and support for multi-platform operating system environments.
* Manage and maintain virtualized environments and enterprise-level virtualization management tools.
* Configure and maintain host-based security and intrusion detection systems.
* Configure and maintain enterprise storage solutions and associated file system architectures.
* Develop and deliver technical documentation and program briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 10+ years of relevant Systems Administration experience; or an Associate's degree with 15+ years' experience.
* 10+ years of experience in systems administration of software and hardware supporting IT system development and testing.
* Experience in a Linux environment.
* 2+ years of experience in Splunk administration.
* Experience utilizing Ansible or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
* Proficiency with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or Perl.
* Familiarity with enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware or similar) and associated Storage Area Networks (SAN).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, SaltStack, or Puppet.
* Experience with NiFi or cross-domain solutions.
* Knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, gateways) and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS.
Clearance Requirement:
* Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
