Systems Engineer (Hybrid)Crownsville, MD, United StatesAbout the Job Systems Engineer (Hybrid)Duties and Responsibilities:Deploying, configuring, and securing VMware products, including ESXi, vCenterConfiguring and securing Windows and Active DirectoryPerforming patching and upgrades with vCenter, ESX Maintenance activitiesHandling installation & troubleshooting of VMware ESXi Servers & vCenterResolving escalated tickets from internal customersLinux or UNIX administration and automation dutiesSetup and replication of Oracle dBEducation and Years of Experience:A Bachelors Degree in a related IT field is requiredA qualified candidate will have at least 12 years of overall IT experienceA qualified candidate will also come with the following specialized experience:2 years experience with deploying, configuring, and securing VMware products, including ESXi, vCenter2 years experience with configuring, and securing Windows and Active Directory2 years experience with VMware product line - vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vRealize, NSX-T and other Infrastructure components2 years experience with vCenter, ESX Maintenance activities. This includes patching and upgrades.2 years experience with Installation & Troubleshooting of VMware ESXi Servers & vCenter. This includes support of VMware and windows environment by resolving the escalated tickets for the internal customers.1 year experience with Linux or UNIX administration and automation1 year experience with Oracle dB setup and replication.Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:Strong understanding of Windows server and desktop operating systemExperience with VMware/Citrix Experience, User profile management and Application VirtualizationExperience with scripting in PowerShellMigration to AWS lift and shift.Strong knowledge of storage systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOr refer someone
