We are seeking a highly experienced and technically adept Systems Integration Engineer to join our Projects Department. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the seamless and high-quality integration of our advanced video surveillance systems, from complex troubleshooting and rigorous quality control to upholding stringent network standards across all projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network configurations, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to technical excellence, contributing significantly to both project success and team development.
Essential Job Functions :
Advanced System Integration & Troubleshooting: Perform all functions of a Systems Integration Technician, serving as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.
Conduct advanced network troubleshooting, both virtually and in collaboration with subcontractors, to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues within surveillance systems.
Execute thorough network verification processes to ensure optimal performance, security, and adherence to Watchtower Security‘s stringent standards.
Lead advanced Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) tuning and verification to guarantee system accuracy and reliability.
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement: Assume primary responsibility for comprehensive quality control checks upon project completion, ensuring all systems meet operational requirements and client expectations.
Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining system integration processes and enhancing overall project outcomes.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Provide expert support and comprehensive training to Systems Integration Technicians on all aspects of their roles, including system setup, configuration, advanced troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate proactively with Project Managers, Subcontractors, System Design, Service, and Review teams to uphold and enforce equipment and network standards across all projects.
Operational Management: Manage asset tracking and updates within the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory records.
Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple competing projects and assignments in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Expertise & Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent proven experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a systems integration role, with demonstrated expertise in advanced technical responsibilities.
Strong understanding of network configuration, protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, etc.), and advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Problem-Solving & Work Ethic: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, analytical approach to task management.
Strong attention to detail and the proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong team building, customer service, and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
