Job description
The Systems Programming Consultant serves in a project management role within the Office of Information Technology Services at the Department of Children and Families, supporting IT project and change management activities for the Economic Self-Sufficiency Services Program. The analyst collaborates across program offices and technical teams to coordinate implementations, manage releases, identify risks, and ensure effective stakeholder communication. The position requires liaising between business units and IT teams to drive successful system implementations and ongoing support.
Key qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field, or 5+ years IT project experience
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Experience with project management tools such as DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms
Ability to identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
