TackerLocation: Duncan, SCSchedule: 1st ShiftEmployment Type: Full TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking Tackers to support pipe fabrication by preparing and tacking components for final welding. This role is critical in ensuring proper fit-up, alignment, and readiness for welders. Tackers must demonstrate strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and production standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform tack welding on pipe and fittingsAssist pipe fitters with layout and preparationEnsure proper alignment and fit-up prior to weldingComplete root and fill to flush on required tests and production workRead basic drawings and follow instructions for assemblyMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsMaintain clean and organized work areasAdditional DutiesAssist other departments as needed to support production flowSupport continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency effortsPerform basic equipment and tool inspectionsSupport production deadlines and workflow demandsRequired QualificationsPrior pipe shop or field tacking experienceMust pass a 2" monster coupon test in 6G positionAbility to perform root and fill to flushBasic understanding of pipe fit-up and fabricationAbility to work in a shop environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working with pipe fitters and weldersFamiliarity with fabrication shop operationsAbility to read basic drawingsTeam Support & CollaborationWork closely with fitters and weldersSupport efficient production flowPromote a safety-first and team-oriented environmentWhy Join UsStrong focus on safety, quality, and productionConsistent shop-based work (no travel)Stable workload supporting ongoing fabrication projectsStrong emphasis on quality, organization, and teamworkOpportunity for growth and skill developmentCompetitive pay and benefitsWe're committed to attracting talented individuals who seek a company with a strong foundation of success and an outstanding culture.
