Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Lenexa, Kansas (Kansas City) | Full-Time | On-Site

Summary

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new hires from offer acceptance through day one and beyond. This role ensures all documentation, compliance requirements, and pre‑employment steps are completed accurately and on time while delivering a smooth and professional candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator partners closely with HR, Operations, and Compliance teams to prepare new hires for success and maintain compliance across all hiring activities.

What You’ll Do

Work with Project Management teams to support badging and credentialing projects

Send, track, & verify onboarding paperwork for new hires

Follow up with candidates to ensure documents are completed on time

Coordinate and schedule drug screenings, background checks, and MVRs

Verify candidate eligibility & clear candidates to start work

Complete and process I‑9 and E‑Verify documentation

Upload and maintain employee records in ADP and internal systems

Coordinate tools, equipment, and onboarding logistics prior to start date

Communicate start dates, onboarding tasks, and important deadlines to new hires

Send orientation emails and onboarding instructions

Facilitatе Day 1–2 New Hire Orientation sessions

Communicate with the VP of Compliance, HR, and Operations teams

Assist with onboarding‑related reporting, tracking, and special projects

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, onboarding, or administrative operations (preferred)

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high‑volume documentation

Experience coordinating onboarding, compliance, or HR processes (preferred)

Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously

Strong organizational and follow‑up skills

Professional communication skills (written and verbal)

Comfortable interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams

Experience using HRIS or ATS systems (e.g., ADP)

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Self‑motivated, dependable, and process‑driven

Physical Requirements

Regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching

Ability to climb ladders and work above ceiling spaces

Ability to work in confined spaces and containment units

Ability to safely lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions

Additional Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age to meet company driving and insurance eligibility requirements

Valid driver's license required. Ability to obtain and maintain identification necessary for work‑related travel is required

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure: The compensation range for this position is $21.00-$24.00 per hour. This range represents REMEDI8's good‑faith estimate of the compensation expected to be offered to a successful candidate at the time of hire. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.

Placement within the compensation range will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, certifications, education, geographic market, internal equity, and business needs.

In addition to base pay, eligible employees may have access to company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings plans with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, and other programs offered in accordance with company policy and applicable law. Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary by position, location, and length of employment.
