Task Force General Manager - Marriott Select Service - Contract 1099 - Travel
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Task Force General Manager to lead our Marriott Select Service property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Residence Inn brand hotels and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations to ensure compliance with Marriott Select Service standards and brand requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop hotel management and staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize profitability.
Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
Drive revenue growth through effective sales, marketing, and guest retention strategies.
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with corporate teams and stakeholders to align hotel operations with company goals.
Serve as a brand ambassador for Marriott Select Service and Residence Inn, upholding brand standards and culture.
Qualifications
Extensive experience as a General Manager within Marriott Select Service properties, specifically with Residence Inn brand experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
Proven ability to manage P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge of Marriott brand standards and operational procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel as needed to support multiple properties or corporate initiatives.
