The Tax Associate prepares various types of tax returns and provides tax-related services for clients. This position will focus primarily on clients in the investment funds and financial services industries, which will provide this Associate with the opportunity and knowledge to become an expert in tax preparation, planning, and strategies for this industry.A Weaver Associate enjoys flexibility, meaningful and diverse client work. The ideal candidate is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA or CPA candidate with 0-2 years of experience in public accountingBasic understanding of the tax implications associated with financial productsAdditionally, the following qualifications are preferred:Master's degree in Accounting or related fieldInvestment partnership tax experienceExcellent written and oral communication skillsTeam orientation and strong interpersonal skillsWeaver Compensation and Benefits: At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
