Tax Manager Opportunity with Olsen Thielen
Olsen Thielen, a progressive and well-established 100+ year‑old firm headquartered in Roseville, MN, with an additional office in Eden Prairie, invites applications for an experienced Tax Director to join our team.

Essential Functions
Perform technical tax reviews and approvals of tax returns
Lead and delegate tax research and tax planning projects
Actively participate in client meetings and tax strategy development
Serve as a resource to staff and address complex tax issues
Communicate key tax updates to internal team and clients
Manage, train, and mentor staff, providing performance feedback and guidance
Ensure efficient and timely delivery of tax projects, meeting productivity goals
Stay informed on economic and legislative changes impacting the tax landscape
Achieve business development goals by marketing firm services to current and prospective clients
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA certification (MBT is a plus but not required)
9+ years of tax experience
Strong technical tax consulting skills
Leadership abilities in coaching, mentoring, and directing staff
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Proven success in business development and marketing
Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000, based on experience and qualifications. Compensation also includes a bonus structure and eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program.
