Develop specialized expertise in key industries—including auto dealerships, construction and real estate, manufacturing, and other commercial businesses—and provide consultative advisory services.

Partner with firm leadership to drive strategic initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and support the continued growth of ARB’s tax practice.

Participate in business development efforts, including identifying opportunities with existing clients, cultivating new relationships, and contributing to firm growth.

Research and communicate solutions to complex tax matters, leveraging deep technical knowledge and sound professional judgment.

Ensure engagement teams operate efficiently while maintaining exceptional client service and quality standards.

To Be an ARB Tax Director, You Have:

A strong track record in public accounting with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. (Ideally 8–15+ years of experience)

Extensive experience with tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses and their owners.

Confidence working with CCH Axcess, Caseware, and CCH Fixed Assets (or similar tax software).

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly translate complex tax matters to diverse audiences.

Proven leadership, relationship-building, and project management skills.

The ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities while fostering a collaborative team environment.

A commitment to contributing to ARB’s client-centric, team-oriented culture.

At ARB, we empower you to shape your own career success. Our flexible, supportive workplace prioritizes work-life harmony, fosters a culture of belonging, and offers extensive professional development to help you achieve your goals. As a Tax Director, you will enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to grow within a family-friendly environment.
