Job description
Job Overview: A law firm seeks a tax lawyer to join its Projects team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have two to seven years of relevant experience, a strong background in tax law, and an interest in renewable energy. Location flexibility is available across DC, Denver, Houston, or New York.
Duties
Support senior associates and partners on renewable energy projects.
Work with project developers, lenders, and investors on various energy initiatives.
Engage in complex financing and tax transactions.
Requirements
2-7 years' experience as a tax lawyer.
Familiarity with renewable energy incentives and partnership taxation preferred.
Strong academic credentials.
Prior work experience within a large law firm preferred.
LLM in taxation preferred.
None specified certifications.
