About the Role
As a Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role in managing and delivering tax engagements for clients across various industries. This role will involve a combination of reviewing and preparing tax returns, managing client relationships, and supporting the development of staff within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will:
Manage and review complex tax engagements, including multi-state and specialized tax returns
Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs
Review tax workpapers, returns, and client deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues
Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
Research complex tax matters and provide practical recommendations and solutions
Collaborate with Partners and leadership to support client service, engagement execution, and firm growth

What We're Looking For
Experience: 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Certification: CPA required
Technical Skills: Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
Leadership: Proven ability to manage engagements and develop staff
Client Management: Strong communication and relationship management skills
Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Tools: Proficiency in tax and accounting software systems
