Tax Manager | Amherst, MA
Our Client is a public accounting firm in the Amherst, MA area. The firm is one of the largest public accounting firms in the nation. They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their practice. The tax manager will oversee a team, be client-facing, and work closely with the partners managing this location. The Firm is looking for a generalist. The clients are corporate. The tax manager should have experience with partnerships, S-corps, and C-corps. The tax manager must be able to mentor and train the staff. A CPA is required. The target base salary is $145,000-$170,000 plus bonus.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5 years of experience in public accounting or related field
3 years of supervisory experience
Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
Proficient use of applicable technology
Target base salary $145,000 to $170,000 plus bonus
