TAX MANAGER
Our Client | Richmond, VA | Hybrid | Full-Time
Our client takes pride in being a different kind of accounting firm. Founded in 2004, the firm is a privately held partnership with approximately 50 employees providing tax, assurance, and consulting services to clients across real estate, construction, financial services, hedge funds, high net worth individuals, and nonprofits. Lead client audit, tax, and/or advisory engagements. Act as a team leader with responsibility and oversight for project outcomes, setting up and engaging with teams and providing hands-on direction.
· Plan and execute audit, review, or tax engagements, including managing deadlines and budgets.
· Provide clear communication when setting expectations, identifying risk, and managing project budgets.
· Manage client relationships as the primary contact, manage expectations, and provide advice on accounting and business issues. Participate in special projects as necessary.
· Strong project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines within agreed-upon budgets.
· Professional attitude and ability to represent the firm's brand.
· 5 years of relevant tax experience.
· 2 years of experience reviewing tax returns.
· Real Estate, Construction, Financial Services, High Net Worth Individuals, or Entrepreneurial Services.
