TAX MANAGER
A fast-growing Northeast Ohio public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax and accounting engagements and help guide the firm's continued growth. This is a great fit for a motivated tax professional who wants genuine leadership responsibility, room to grow, and a flexible, team-oriented environment rather than a rigid corporate structure.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee tax and accounting assignments, ensuring high-quality delivery
Review and file individual and business tax returns with a strong focus on accuracy and detail
Manage multiple concurrent client engagements
Conduct tax research and provide practical solutions for clients and team members
Lead and develop a growing team, mentoring and training staff on technical and career growth
Deliver timely, high-quality client service that exceeds expectations
Proactively identify and resolve client concerns and performance opportunities
Build relationships with referral sources and centers of influence to support firm growth
Stay current on tax legislation and share relevant insights with clients and the team
Pursue ongoing professional development
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional tax experience
CPA or EA certification required
Strong communication and analytical skills
Excellent team and project management skills
Deep knowledge of tax legislation
