Job description
Overview
Silver Bridge CPAs, a full-service CPA firm located in Meridian, ID, provides tax, accounting and advisory services for a diverse roster of clients. We are currently seeking a hands-on, self-starting tax leader with 4+ years of recent public accounting tax experience for an important role on our tax leadership team managing tax engagements for small to mid-size, closely held businesses, non-profit organizations, trusts and estates and individuals.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns including individual, business, non-profit and trust and estate returns
Lead multiple engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including research, planning, consulting and financial statement preparation
Review and evaluate staff work
Research and resolve tax issues
Advise clients while building professional client relationships
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting
CPA license required
4+ years of recent public accounting tax experience including preparation of individual and business tax returns
Demonstrated knowledge of tax law and GAAP with the ability to effectively perform tax research and communicate findings
Strong organization, communication, analytical, client service, leadership, time management and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency (CCH ProSystem fx and/or CCH Axcess proficiency are a plus)
Attention to detail with the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, mentor staff and work effectively in a paperless, team-oriented environment
