Job description
Base pay range: $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level | Employment type: Full‑time.
Responsibilities
Review and prepare tax returns and provide guidance and technical advice on complex tax issues to high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and their businesses to help maximize tax efficiency.
Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax planning opportunities.
Lead and manage a team of staff tax professionals, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring high quality of work.
Conduct business development activities to attract new clients.
Support special projects, including tax research and analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
5+ years of experience in tax accounting, particularly with high‑net‑worth individuals and their businesses.
Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
Desire to grow professionally and attain Sr. Manager and Partner roles.
Proven leadership abilities, including team management, task delegation, and providing feedback and guidance.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to explain complex tax issues to clients and colleagues.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary & Benefits
Pay: Competitive salary plus annual bonus, 150‑175k for Manager, 175‑200k for Sr. Manager.
