nResponsibilities
nResponsibilities:
nnnFacilitate primary reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting services for your partnership clients
n
nnEvaluate the tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage the client's Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 704b accounts
n
nnManage multiple client services teams on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients and manage to budget
n
nnManage, develop, train and mentor staff on tax projects and assess their performance for engagement and year-end performance reviews
n
nnResearch and consult on various tax matters, primarily in Sub-chapter K-Partnership taxation; utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters
n
nnRespond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities
n
nnMaintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure deadlines are met, and enhance client relationships
n
n nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
nQualifications:
nnnBachelor's degree in Accounting, or other related field
n
nnCPA or licensed member of the Bar
n
nn5+ years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a combination of industry and public accounting experience
n
nnExcellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills, partnership returns, joint venture and non-corporate entity tax returns and understanding of Sub-chapter K partnership taxation, is required
n
nnExceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
n
nnStrong leadership, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
n
nnAbility to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
n
nnAbility to travel up to 25%
