The Role
We're hiring a Tax Manager who thinks past the return. You'll review technical work across nearly every entity type, run point on international reporting when clients lives’ or businesses cross borders, and lead a team that looks to you for both the right answer and the better question. Just as much, you'll be the person clients call when they're weighing a big decision, because you've already spotted the angle they hadn't considered.
What You'll Do
Review individual, partnership, S-corps, C-corps, estate, and trust returns, and coach the team on getting it right the first time.
Own international tax reporting and compliance for clients with cross-border income, assets, or ownership structures.
Get ahead of tax season, not just through it: flag planning opportunities early and bring strategic recommendations directly to clients.
Manage the team's workflow, deadlines, and development, and give feedback that actually helps people get better.
Build real relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, not just the name on the review stamp.
Run multiple engagements at once without letting quality slip on any of them.
Dig into the harder questions: unusual transactions, gray areas, and the situations the textbook skips.
What You Bring
An active CPA license.
6+ years in public accounting, with real review-level experience under your belt.
Strong technical range across individual, partnership, S-corp, C-corp, estate, and trust tax.
Working knowledge of international tax reporting and compliance.
Experience leading or mentoring a team, and the patience to actually do it well.
An instinct for strategy, not just compliance: you see the planning opportunity before someone points it out.
The ability to explain a complicated tax position to a client without losing them halfway through.
