About the Firm
For over 40 years, this San Diego-based CPA firm has built deep, enduring client relationships through trust, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to service. They don’t chase volume or play the billable‑hour Olympics. Instead, they focus on meaningful partnerships with closely held businesses, high‑net‑worth individuals, and real estate investors across Southern California. It’s a place where you’ll still be challenged but in the right ways. Complex work, thoughtful clients, and partners who value balance as much as performance.
Why CPAs tend to stay here:
A steady, diverse client base across real estate, professional services, and privately held businesses
A collaborative, low‑ego culture built on mentorship and mutual respect
Hybrid work model that actually works, not just in name
Leadership that believes in transparency and long‑term growth
True work‑life balance (you’ll still have time for life after deadlines)
What’s on offer:
$120,000 – $150,000 base salary (depending on experience)
401(k) with employer contributions
Generous PTO and paid holidays
Hybrid schedule (typically 2–3 days in office)
Direct mentorship from experienced partners
Clear path to leadership
The right fit:
CPA license required
6+ years of public accounting experience
Solid background in tax compliance and review for partnerships, corporations, and HNW individuals
Strong communicator and hands‑on leader who enjoys developing others
Comfortable in a close‑knit, mid‑size firm environment
