The following responsibilities, opportunities, and requirements for this position are as follows:
Responsibilities & Opportunities:
Responsible for corporate, flow-through (partnerships/S-corporations), individual, and trust tax compliance – Both Federal and multistate.
Forward thinker who cananticipateclient needs andplanfor quarterly estimates and year-end planning.
Confidence in leading client communications and establishingrelationships with existing clients.
Lead staff members in performing tax review and compliance work.
Develop and mentor tax associates by leading training sessions and providing constructive feedback.
Manage special projects, including transaction work, audits/notices, and internal firmwide initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting (minimum)
Certified Public Accountant license
6+ years of public accounting experience
Manufacturing, construction, distribution, real estate, or service industry experience a plus
Experience in CCH tax software (Engagement, Axcess, Document, etc.) a plus
