Tax Operations Manager
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + bonus + overtime eligibility
Location: Old Bridge, NJ (Fully Onsite)

Key Responsibilities for the Tax Operations Manager:
• Monitor workloads, project status, and deadlines using workflow and practice management systems
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions before they impact client deliverables
• Conduct regular meetings with CPAs and tax professionals to ensure projects remain on track
• Manage client service escalations and oversee issue resolution through completion
• Provide firm leadership with updates on workflow metrics, team utilization, and capacity planning
• Reassign priorities and coordinate resources to support timely project execution
Qualifications for the Tax Operations Manager:
• 3+ years of leadership experience within accounting, tax, or professional services environments
• Experience overseeing workflows, project priorities, and operational processes
• Familiarity with practice management or workflow software; Canopy experience is a plus
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities and driving accountability across teams
• Strong understanding of tax practice operations and deadline-driven environments
