Tax PreparerJackson Hewitt Tax Service is hiring Tax Preparers for the 2027 tax season in the Phoenix & Chandler and Scottsdale area! Our mission is to make taxes easy!Are you:A stay-at-home parent looking for part-time work?Able to work flexible hours?A Veteran or military member transitioning from the service?Retired and want to continue to make an impact?A gig worker or looking to add a second income?Part of a military family that moves often?We'd love to have you!Responsibilities:Complete our online Jackson Hewitt Tax School and trainingConduct face-to-face tax interviews with clientsProvide expert explanation, preparation, and completion of accurate tax-related forms for clients - including multi-year, multi-state, and year-end tax formsProvide clients with IRS audit support, complete E-filing, obtain signatures, and e-file these forms to IRS and state agenciesCollect and process client tax payments while ensuring timely tax return depositsAnswer tax questions and advise clients on future tax planningSupport office priorities through teamwork and collaboration with othersRequirements:2+ years Customer Service experienceHigh School diploma or equivalentTax Planning, Accounting, or Financial Planning experience is a plusCollege degree in accounting or related field is a plusBilingual Spanish is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyWe Offer:Flexible scheduling options with Weekday, Weekend, Full time, or Part Time schedulesSalary range of $17-$18, depending on experienceBilingual employees earn a bonus.50 cents per hourCommission available on completed returnsAdditional performance bonuses availableCall or Text Regional Manager Mary Hernandez with any questions at !
