nJoining H&R Block 1 as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.
nPreferred Qualifications
nnnBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
n
nnCPA or Enrolled Agent certification
n
nnExperience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
n
nn5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
n
nnExperience conducting virtual tax interviews
n
nnExperience with tax planning and audit support
n
nnSales and/or marketing experience
n

nRequired Qualifications
nnnConduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
n
nnPrepare complete and accurate tax returns
n
nnGenerate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
n
nnProvide clients with IRS support
n
nnAll certification levels can provide tax notice services
n
nnCircular 230 associates can provide audit representation
n
nnMentor and support teammates
n
n nYour Expertise:
nnnSuccessful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 2
n
nnExperience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
n
nnExperience completing individual returns
n
nnExperience working in a fast-paced environment
n
nnComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
n
nnAbility to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
n
nnMust complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
n
nnHigh school diploma / equivalent or higher
n
