Job description
Position Title: Tax Senior or Tax Manager
Office Location: Decatur or Hartselle, AL

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns across a diverse client base
Perform general ledger review, month-end/year-end close, and account tie-outs
Provide technical guidance and oversight to interns during busy season, supporting their training and review so partners and directors can stay focused on client engagements
Support engagements across both office locations as needed and collaborate closely with partners and staff
Required Qualifications
Active CPA license, or actively pursuing CPA licensure
4+ years of progressive tax experience
Demonstrated proficiency in individual and business tax return preparation and review
General ledger experience, including year-end close procedures and account reconciliation/tie-outs
Staff training or mentoring experience preferred, though not required
