Wrapper Job PostingJob Title: WrapperJob Location: Arhaus Upholstery – Conover, NCWeekly Hours: Monday – Friday 6a – 3:30p Overtime as neededDepartment: ShippingReports To: Shipping SupervisorPosition DetailsJob Purpose: Prepare the final product to be shipped without damage.Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preparation of finished product for shipping by:Using a heat gun to wrap furniture to ensure it is not damaged during shippingAssist at various stages of the shrink wrap tunnel to wrap the product.Assist in loading of truckOther duties as assigned by the ManagerWorking Conditions: Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.Supervision Received: MinimumSupervision Exercised: NoneDirect Reports: NoneQualificationsMinimum Experience Requirements: Manufacturing Experience.Preferred Experience Requirements: Experience in furniture manufacturing.Minimum Education Requirements: Less than High SchoolPreferred Education Requirements: High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired SkillsPhysical & Environmental Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.Must be able to read an order ticketStrong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills, including ability to describe and convey nonconformance issues is required.Strict attention to detail is a must.Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude.Must be able to work with minimum supervision.Must have your own reliable transportation.Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.Must be able to work weekends and overtime.Must be reliable.Must have strong English language skills, including: reading, comprehending, speaking, writing, and communication.Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as safety glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.Must be able to adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.Arhaus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
