As a TCK Advocate , you'll come alongside field workers serving around the world, providing spiritual encouragement, prayer, coaching, and relational support so they can thrive in their walk with Jesus and remain effective in their ministry. Our field workers serve in some of the most challenging and spiritually significant places on earth. Through intentional relationships, pastoral care, and Christ-centered coaching, the Barnabas Team helps sustain and strengthen those on the front lines of ministry.
About the Role
As a TCK Advocate , you will:
Oasis Retreat, Candidate School, Kids Clubs and Bible Studies
Assist the TCK Team in the general preparations for Oasis and CS.
Adequately prepare and teach a variety of age groups (nursery - teenagers)
Support Oasis and CS Kids/Teens by helping prepare and participating in the variety of events and activities (e.g. family worship, field day, etc...)
Family Support Help resource the Family and Pastoral Coaches with debriefings, consultations and meetings with parents and families on and off the field
As invited, assist Family and Pastoral Coaches with in-person debriefings.
Educate Help churches and sending groups learn and implement how they can best support TCKs
Respond to and cultivate requests from churches regarding how to support TCKs and families.
Relationships/Spiritual Establish a rhythm of prayer and spiritual support encouraging third culture kids to thrive in their relationship with Jesus.
Initiate relationships with third culture kids at every opportunity. Seek to be available for encouragement, coaching, counseling and prayer.

What We're Looking For A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for missions
High school diploma or GED
Two years of experience working with kids and in missions is preferred
Heart for missions, cross cultural workers, Muslims and ministering to kids/TCKs and families
Ability to raise and maintain personal support
