n nResponsibilities
nnnProvide high quality Special Instruction Services in accordance with children's IFSPs
n
nnPerforms evaluations and ongoing assessments and tracks child progress.
n
nnProvides parent coaching and teaches strategies that promote skill development during daily routines.
n
nnDevelop and implement individualized treatment strategies to improve social interaction, communication, play skills, and adaptive skills.
n
nnParticipate in IFSP meetings, team meetings, and case conferences.
n
n nQualifications
nnnMust have one of the following teaching certifications:
n
nnTeacher of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired
n
nnTeacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)
n
nnTeacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
n
nnCertification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through the New York State Early Intervention Program.
n
n nPosted Salary Range
nUSD $70.00 - USD $75.00 /Hr.
