Position Overview
The Team Lead is tasked with performing the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility and providing excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Organizing shift schedules for team members
Monitoring attendance, tardiness and time off
Assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills
Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary
Managing employees’ requests and transgressions
Training new and current team members on tasks
Handling customer issues and managing conflicts
Adhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standards
Balancing cash drawers and preparing cash deposits
Additional Tasks
Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services; take and process wash payments.
Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized (water hoses, nozzles, brushes, soap buckets, broom, hand tools, pressure washer, and grease gun).
Provide assistance to customers in any area concerning car wash process.
Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a pleasant, focused, and competent attitude.
Point to directional sign; neutral, no-brake, no steering while watching the customer to ensure directions are followed.
Smile at customer and give thumbs up after guest is in neutral with no brakes.
Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area.
Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily.
Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung.
With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, home office, and fellow teammates.

Strong ability to handle the physical demand of the job.
Ability to follow directions and correctly implement tasks.
Car wash locations can create wet hazardous conditions and safety precautions should be met for safety and compliance.
