This role also performs manufacturing duties in an assigned area when needed, and ensures KPS Global is able to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfy customer requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesCoaching, training, counseling, and evaluating performance of team members against company production, safety, quality, and management standardsManaging team members to ensure productivity, safety, and efficiency levels are obtained; also responsible for communicating the status of objectives to the teamPerforming duties of assigned area including assembly and serving as a machine operator and material handlerResolving issues through root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsInspecting products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirementsCompleting and maintaining all associated electronic processes paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping materialsPerforming duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirementsMaintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standardsCompleting additional tasks/projects, depending on need of the departmentRequired SkillsGood verbal and written communication skills within the English languageBasic computer skillsAbility to think analytically, perform root cause analysis, and have a mechanical aptitudeAbility to speak Spanish preferredRequired ExperienceHigh School Diploma3 – 5 years of manufacturing experienceProven ability to understand commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environmentComplete understanding of job flow principles and the impact of events in delaying downstream processesFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, safety, and quality standardsBasic understanding of carrying out HR dutiesMust be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the workdayMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouchMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistanceMust be able to climb and balanceMust be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feelJob Location4201 Beach Street, Fort Worth, Texas, United StatesPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular
