You will inherit and sculpt a distributed, cross‑site team of 18 developers and administrators. Your canvas? Green‑field international Business Central rollouts, bespoke Core Apps (Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, Service, Finance), and a sprawling architecture that demands absolute stability, security, and uncompromising data integrity.
Let’s address the elephant in the room: This role is anchored in Landau an der Isar, Germany . You will have the flexibility of up to two days of remote work per week, but true leadership demands a presence. You cannot build a high‑performance, family‑spirited engineering culture exclusively through a webcam. We want a decisive, conflict‑resilient strategist who thrives in the room where it happens.
The Arsenal You Must Possess
We are not interested in hypothetical expertise. To command this room, your pedigree must be undeniable:
A minimum of 5 years of hands‑on, trench‑tested development and administration within Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC / NAV.
Absolute fluency in AL, C/AL, Extensions, Visual Studio Code, MS‑SQL, Azure DevOps / Git, and PowerShell.
You must command both German and English at a B2 level or higher. Negotiation, coaching, and board‑level alignment demand nothing less.
Proven project experience within sprawling ERP environments, with a bonus if you bring Azure Services, Power Platform, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) battle scars.
You are communicative, deeply collaborative, yet entirely unafraid to make the hard, fast decisions required to scale.
