What You Should Know About the Team Leader- Nutritional Services:
Typical hours are 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Weekends and holidays possible.

Jefferson Regional Nutritional Services Department
Job Summary:
The Team Leader of Nutritional Services is responsible for ensuring the dietary needs of all residents. This position supervises, trains, and educates employees to ensure competency; continuously improve quality of nutritional services. Monitors to assure team members and self are performing job functions accurately. Responsible for accurate keeping of cash. Ensures proper procedures are followed-safe and cashier counting.
Team Leader- Nutritional Services Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Associate Degree in Nutrition, Food Services Management, or other related field preferred.
Enrolled in an approved Dietary Manager Course and certification preferred.
SerSafe Certification required.
Certified Dietary Manager Certification preferred.
This is a safety sensitive position. *
Minimum Requirements
:
One (1) year experience in team positions.
2 years’ experience in commercial kitchen or retail.
Ability to solve problems and communicate with others.
Ability to work independently and within a team
A customer service oriented approach to work, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Requirements
:
At least 2 years in management position in healthcare or commercial kitchen
Culinary training is preferred
Experience in a healthcare setting
Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with food services software
