Job Summary
As a Teamcenter Developer , you will design, develop, and support customizations within the Siemens Teamcenter PLM system to streamline business processes. You’ll ensure smooth integrations with CAD tools, ERP systems, and other enterprise platforms, and empower engineering and manufacturing teams through automation, user training, and technical support. This role requires both deep Teamcenter expertise and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
This position's internal job code is Information Technology Engr. Our team is currently hiring for a level 5.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement custom Teamcenter solutions using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, RAC, scripting (TCL, Java, .NET, C++), and Teamcenter SDK.
Customize and optimize the Active Workspace to enhance user experience and increase productivity.
Integrate Teamcenter with CAD systems (e.g., NX, SolidWorks), ERP platforms, and other enterprise tools.
Assist with installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning of the Teamcenter environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and document enhancements.
Conduct user training, provide ongoing support, and translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
Contribute to scripting and automation efforts in Linux/Windows environments to support PLM workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Teamcenter Developer.
Strong skills with Teamcenter architecture, data models, customization tools (BMIDE, ITK, SOA).
Proven ability in integrations with CAD software and ERP systems, as well as PLM system upgrades.
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, TCL, Java, C++, .Net).
Comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Siemens Teamcenter certification or equivalent credentials.
Proven experience in developing Teamcenter Reporting, Change Management, and BOM Managment processes.
Database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Summary Pay-Range
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Level 5: $145,350 – $213,750
