Job Summary:
Assist anesthesia providers by preparing, maintaining, and managing anesthesia equipment and supplies. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of anesthesia systems in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare anesthesia machines, supplies, and medications prior to procedures.
Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
Assist anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists during patient procedures.
Monitor and document equipment performance, safety checks, and supply levels.
Follow facility policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an anesthesia technician or in a related healthcare role.
Certification or licensure relevant to anesthesia technology preferred.
Demonstrate knowledge of anesthesia equipment, safety procedures, and sterile techniques.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively under supervision.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
