Job description

This is a remote position.

KIS is looking for a talented Tech Leadto join a growing team working on a global project. This role offers the opportunity to lead a product with real impact across several countries, with new markets and exciting features constantly being rolled out. We're looking for someone with strong full-stack experience, leadership skills, and a sharp business sense to help us continue delivering value in a dynamic, high-visibility environment. This opportunity involves both feature development and market support—ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, collaborating closely with both business and technical stakeholders, and working in a lean and fast-paced setup. Main Responsibilities:

Lead a team working on large and complex systems;

Communicate regularly with business stakeholders to understand and align with business goals;

Interface with complex enterprise environments to design integrations and solutions that meet business needs;

Actively contribute to the codebase and support less experienced developers;

Manage a development backlog of bug fixes and feature requests across active and upcoming markets;

Coordinate the rollout of new features and support global expansion efforts;

Occasionally travel to key markets to collaborate with in-field teams and support feature planning or deployments;

Ensure a high standard of communication in English, both written and verbal, with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

Experience with leadership on IT projects

Solid knowledge of backend development with Java/Spring Boot;

Strong frontend experience with React or Angular;

Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL);

Experience with mobile application projects is a plus;

Comfortable working across both new feature development and production support;

Excellent English skills for team communication and stakeholder engagement;

Strong organizational and planning skills;

Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);

Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business value;

Willingness to travel occasionally (US, LATAM).
