Job description
$652.80/week -
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team, responsible for collecting blood samples and ensuring the accuracy and safety of specimen handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities:
Collect blood specimens from patients following standard procedures and safety protocols.
Label and process samples accurately to prevent identification errors.
Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the collection area.
Assist with patient preparation and address any concerns or questions.
Ensure proper documentation of all collected samples and related activities.
Adhere to all regulatory and facility-specific guidelines during specimen collection.
Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Phlebotomist with relevant certification.
Proven experience in venipuncture and blood collection procedures.
Strong knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends, with flexibility.
Demonstrates attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
